God’s Work Our Hands
We have an event on the second Sunday in September (ELCA’s – God’s Work Our Hands Sunday). We focus on activities to help our environment and help with Social Justice issues.
Annual Yard Sale October 21st 2023
We have an Annual Yard Sale in October from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Montgomery Village Residents look forward to this event each year. If you’re already headed to the MV Farmers’ Market, take a walk inside the church for the annual Yard Sale. Only cash and checks are accepted. Donations of items from members of the community as well as members of the Parish are accepted the week before the Yard Sale. Proceeds are always split between one local program (like Whetstone Elementary School) and one national program (like Immigration and Refugee Service). Unsold clothing is sent to Interfaith Works Clothing Center. Other items go to Good Will and Salvation Army.
Farmers’ Market
The Montgomery Village Farmers’ Market. Come browse delicious selection of fruits and vegetables, pastries, prepared foods, and more. This is a great opportunity to support vendors and small businesses in the local community, and one of the events that allows CTS to be most visible to the public. If you’ve never been, come see what it’s all about!
Every Saturday, June-October 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the CTS Parking Lot:
- We provide a book sharing library
- We host a table for prayers
- We open our doors to provide access to bathrooms
- We provide cool water on hot summer days
